This is a page dedicated to the premise that the thing that humans do best, the thing that justifies our continued existence, is music.  We do other things well too, like architecture, war, soccer and mathematics, but the one area where we indisputably excel is music.

The authors on this site are music fans just like you from the US, Scotland and Norway. Some double as musicians and some are just fans, but while we’re all very different the thing we have in common is that we all share a love of music.

This is an unmoderated site for the authors to post anything that strikes their fancy. A number of the authors met online as fans of the Scottish group Big Country so if there’s an emphasis on Big Country-related items that’s why. But this isn’t a Big Country page, it’s just a band of music lovers fighting another front in the War Against Silence.
